I have a vision, a Vision of Unity.
Comprised of 2000 individual original paintings, this work’s mission is to inspire a world to stop fighting and come together in peace.
The visions began after 9/11. In the face of such calculated destruction and death, I started to remember all the wars I witnessed as a child and began to take action. From a lifetime of witnessing violence and fighting, visions arose of a very different reality. I knew this message had to get out there in the middle of the global chaos. The answer was Unity and the medium would be Art.
Each of the singular paintings are made up of global faces, 272 country flags, three hearts, Eye, an olive branch, and human mission paintings expressed as images of unconditional love.
When they are all together, you see the white dove, our most ancient peace sign surrounded by the contemporary peace sign. War has been with us for a millenia, however, peace only happens in the now, and we have the power to do this.
When we all come together, peace is possible. A Vision of Unity is the culmination of my largest body of work.
A combination of 2,000 paintings coming together creates a half an acre size painting of Unity and Peace.
Made of 5 Series:
1. 1,673 Visions.
2. 14 Missions.
3. The Eye.
4. 40 olive branch, held by the dove.
5. 272 national or territorial flags.
This is the graphic design of assembling all the paintings together.
With 16 years of inspired work, the 2000 paintings are in the final stages.
